Perhaps we are all just like plants? We are part of nature.
Seeds in our mothers wombs that grew into flowers brought into the earth. 🌸
Here we were born into a variety of conditions. Some that supported us, stretched us, broke us, rebuilt us, and we learnt more & more about what it is to grow.
Not just a physical growth but growth inside that can change the way we see the world around us, can help us place & adapt our values with what’s important. A growth that can teach us to become more resilient to the weather of our lives.
But now. Our focus is feeling a shift. The conditions that helped us thrive, that nourished our existence & kept the usual cycles of life, they are changing. And there is panic. There is chaos & destruction, for the home we did not even realise we took for granted.
The shift from ourselves to those around us is being pushed for us to see. To encourage change in our perspective & focus. To look outward into the environment that has been feeding life within it. To give more value to mother earth. Our nurturer, our protector. The one that has provided us a home to live in & maintained the conditions we need to survive.
She needs us to nurture her now, like she has nurtured us for eternities. For us to give her more of a home in our hearts. So we start taking the action she needs to heal. So we learn to listen more to her soft whispers encouraging changes in our ways, so she doesn’t need to shout through natural disasters to get our attention.
Sometimes a mother needs her children to mother her.
And sometimes what she needs most is for her children to learn to listen.
