Adapt the pace of nature
She knows patience
There is no rush,
Only movement.
Soft & gentle
Yet strong & fierce
The sea thrives off the wind
Just as the wind thrives off the sea
The rain nourishes the plants
Just as the plants help create the rain
The clouds dim the light
But the sunlight breaks through the clouds
Rocks hold steady overtime
But the weather helps change their shape and carve their form.
And all of life within nature is fed the conditions that allow us to live with it.
The insects, the birds, the sea life, the creatures upon the land, us –
we are all gifted the conditions to live.
The breeze that blows off the ocean is breathed in through our lungs,
feeding us life.
As you breathe out, take a second to recognise the exchange we are making with our surroundings with every breath we take,
Aren’t we so lucky!
To be fuelled with all the beauty around us. For it to teach us what balance is. To see the cycles, the feel rhythm. To learn more how to adapt & work in with our surroundings,
To get a glimpse of harmony.
When you’re feeling off centre, out of balance or when your emotions are clouding your view…
Come back to nature,
To remember your own.
Spend time walking by the sea with the waves washing over your feet as you leave your footprints in the sand.
Leap through the ocean that meets you & dive into the vitamin sea,
Spend time sitting under a tree & feel yourself breathe a little deeper,
Have a drink as you watch the sunset & marvel at the colours that are painted around you,
Look up & see an endless sky above
Observe the beauty in a single flower & how they are so different, each their own.
Feel the cool breeze come through as the clouds dim the sunlight in the sky, bringing the day to an end.
And just keep walking through it.
Being with it,
Appreciating it,
So it can appreciate you.
So it can bring more fresh beauty into your day,
More & more each day.
Keep noticing all of its wonders…
It’s changing ways,
Notice how it breaks & builds, it dims & beams, it changes temperature, it changes form..
But it never stops being the mother of all creation.
Being the vessel that brings life to the earth 🌍
